Loctite Threadlocker: A Must-Have for Installing Optics | 0.5 ml CZ

CZ P-10 Optics Ready plates

CZ P-10 Optics Ready (OR) plates adapt your factory OR slide to a specific red-dot footprint and keep the optic low, rigid, and zeroed.

What does an OR plate do?

  • Matches footprints: pairs your P-10 OR cut with proven optic patterns.
  • Adds rigidity: quality plates use tight tolerances, recoil lugs/pins, and correct screw geometry.
  • Simplifies swaps: change optics without milling the slide.

How to choose the right plate

1) Start with your model

This page is for the CZ P-10 Optics Ready. Confirm your slide is the OR variant and select a plate made specifically for it.

2) Select the optic footprint

  • Trijicon RMR footprint
  • Shield RMSc footprint
  • Holosun K-series footprint
  • Leupold DPP footprint
  • C-More RTS footprint
  • Vortex Venom footprint
  • Aimpoint ACRO footprint

3) Get threadlocker

Recoil works screws loose if untreated. Use Loctite on clean, degreased hardware to keep zero and hardware secure.

Installation basics

  • Degrease plate/slide/optic interfaces and screws; apply threadlocker.
  • Torque to manufacturer specs for both plate-to-slide and optic-to-plate screws.
  • Verify screw length and thread pitch; witness-mark and recheck after the first range session.

What if your CZ isn’t “Optics Ready”?

You can still mount a red dot without milling by using a dovetail red dot mount that replaces the rear sight.
