This part allows you to simply remove the rear sight on your gun and replace it with the mount in order to mount your red dot sight.
You can replace the mount back for standard sights at any time back. No modifications are needed, fits as it comes. 
The Shield red dots are of little dimensions and this mount is made for the exact size of it. Compared to universal red dot mounts this red dot mount is is therefore much more subtle.

Installation of the red dot mount

For installation, simply remove the rear sight and replace it with this mount. No modifications required. You can switch back to your rear sight any time.
